Mama Lil's Pickled Pepper and Prosciutto Pinwheels

These pinwheels are a savory and delicious appetizer that's perfect for any occasion. 


  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed 
  • 4 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto 
  • 1/4 cup Mama Lil's pickled peppers, diced 
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme 
  • 1 egg, beaten 
  • Salt and pepper to taste 


  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. 
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry to 1/8 inch thickness. 
  3. Arrange the prosciutto slices over the puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges. 
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced pickled peppers, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped thyme, salt, and pepper. 
  5. Sprinkle the filling over the prosciutto. 
  6. Starting from one edge, tightly roll up the puff pastry to form a log. 
  7. Brush the outside of the log with the beaten egg. 
  8. Slice the log into 1/2-inch pinwheels and place them on a baking sheet. 
  9. Brush the pinwheels with the remaining egg. 
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the pinwheels are golden brown and puffed. 11. Serve immediately.
