Mama Lil's Pickled Pepper and Ricotta Crostini

These crostini are a simple yet elegant appetizer that features the tangy flavor of Mama Lil's pickled peppers paired with creamy ricotta cheese. 


  • 12 slices baguette, sliced on the diagonal 
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese 
  • 1/4 cup Mama Lil's pickled peppers, diced 
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil 
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil 
  • Salt and pepper to taste 


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. 
  2. Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil. 
  3. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until lightly golden. 
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, diced pickled peppers, chopped basil, salt, and pepper. 
  5. Spread a generous amount of the ricotta mixture onto each toasted baguette slice. 
  6. Top with additional diced pickled peppers and fresh basil. 
  7. Serve immediately.
