Mama Lil's Pickled Pepper and Ricotta Stuffed Shells

These stuffed shells are a delicious and comforting dinner that's perfect for a cozy night in. The tangy pickled peppers add a unique twist to the classic ricotta filling. 


  • 16 jumbo pasta shells 
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese 
  • 1/2 cup Mama Lil's Pickled Peppers, finely chopped 
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 
  • 1 egg, beaten 
  • 1 clove garlic, minced 
  • Salt and black pepper to taste 
  • 2 cups marinara sauce 
  • Fresh basil leaves, chopped (for garnish) 


  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. 
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to the package directions. Drain the cooked shells and set them aside to cool. 
  3. In a medium bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, chopped Mama Lil's Pickled Peppers, grated Parmesan cheese, beaten egg, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. 
  4. Spoon the ricotta filling into each cooked pasta shell and place the stuffed shells in a large baking dish. 
  5. Pour the marinara sauce over the stuffed shells, covering them completely. 6. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the shells are heated through and the cheese is melted. 
  6. Garnish the stuffed shells with chopped fresh basil leaves and serve hot.
