Mama Lil's Pickled Pepper and Smoked Salmon Canapés
These canapés are elegant and flavorful. The smoky salmon pairs perfectly with the tangy pickled peppers.
Ingredients:
- 12 thin slices of bread
- 4 ounces smoked salmon, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup Mama Lil's pickled peppers, diced
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Using a round cookie cutter or a glass, cut the bread slices into small circles.
- Place the bread circles on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 8-10 minutes, until lightly golden.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and chopped dill.
- Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture onto each toasted bread circle.
- Top with a slice of smoked salmon.
- Sprinkle the diced pickled peppers over the top of the smoked salmon.
- Serve immediately.
