Mama Lil's Pickled Pepper and Cheddar Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Juicy chicken breasts are stuffed with a combination of cheddar cheese and spicy Mama Lil's Pickled Peppers, then baked to perfection in this tasty dish. 


  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded 
  • 1/2 cup Mama Lil's Pickled Peppers, chopped 
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 
  • Salt and pepper to taste 
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 
  • 2 tablespoons butter 
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth 
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream 
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) 


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. 
  2. In a bowl, mix together the cheddar cheese, Mama Lil's Pickled Peppers, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. 
  3. Use a sharp knife to carefully cut a pocket into each chicken breast, making sure not to cut all the way through. 
  4. Stuff each chicken breast with the cheese and pepper mixture, and secure with toothpicks or kitchen twine. 
  5. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then dredge them in flour. 
  6. Heat the butter in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. 
  7. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown. 
  8. Add chicken broth and heavy cream to the skillet, and bring to a boil. 
  9. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven, and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through. 
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
