Mama Lil's Pickled Pepper and Gouda Grilled Cheese

This gourmet grilled cheese features tangy Mama Lil's Pickled Peppers and creamy Gouda cheese, all sandwiched between slices of crusty bread. 


  • 4 slices sourdough bread 
  • 4 ounces Gouda cheese, sliced 
  • 1/2 cup Mama Lil's Pickled Peppers, sliced 
  • 2 tablespoons butter 


  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. 
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread. 
  3. Place two slices of bread, butter side down, in the skillet. 
  4. Top each slice of bread with a layer of Gouda cheese, followed by a layer of Mama Lil's Pickled Peppers. 
  5. Top each sandwich with another slice of bread, butter side up. 
  6. Cook the sandwiches for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted. 
  7. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve hot.
