Mama Lil's Pickled Pepper and Potato Gratin

This cheesy potato gratin is a comforting and satisfying side dish that's perfect for holiday dinners or special occasions. 


  • 2 pounds Yukon gold potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced 
  • 1/2 cup Mama Lil's Pickled Peppers, sliced 
  • 2 cups heavy cream 
  • 1 cup grated Gruyere cheese 
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced 
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme 
  • Salt and black pepper to taste 
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) 


  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. 
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced Yukon gold potatoes, sliced Mama Lil's Pickled Peppers, heavy cream, grated Gruyere cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine. 
  3. Pour the potato mixture into a large baking dish. 
  4. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes. 
  5. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown and crispy. 
  6. Garnish the potato gratin with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
