Mama Lil's Pickled Pepper and Roasted Garlic Hummus

This hummus is a flavorful dip that's perfect for snacking or entertaining. The pickled peppers add a tangy kick, while the roasted garlic adds depth and richness. 


  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed 
  • 1 head garlic 
  • 1/4 cup Mama Lil's pickled peppers, diced 
  • 2 tablespoons tahini 
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice 
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil 
  • Salt and pepper to taste 


  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. 
  2. Cut off the top of the garlic head to expose the cloves. 
  3. Drizzle the garlic head with olive oil and wrap it in aluminum foil. 
  4. Roast the garlic in the oven for 30-40 minutes, until the cloves are soft and golden brown. 
  5. In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, diced pickled peppers, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. 
  6. Squeeze the roasted garlic cloves out of the head and add them to the food processor. 
  7. Blend everything together until smooth and creamy. 
  8. Drizzle Mama Lil's oil on top
  9. Serve with pita chips or fresh vegetables.
