Mama Lil's Pickled Pepper and Avocado Crostini

These crostini are a fresh and flavorful appetizer that's perfect for any occasion. The avocado mash can also be used for guacamole!


  • 12 slices sourdough bread, sliced on the diagonal 
  • 1 ripe avocado, mashed 
  • 1/4 cup Mama Lil's pickled peppers, diced 
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice 
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro 
  • Salt and pepper to taste 


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. 
  2. Arrange the sourdough bread slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil. 
  3. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until lightly golden. 
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed avocado, diced pickled peppers, lime juice, chopped cilantro, salt, and pepper. 
  5. Spread a generous amount of the avocado mixture onto each toasted bread slice. 
  6. Top with additional diced pickled peppers and cilantro. 
  7. Serve immediately.
