Mama Lil's Pickled Pepper and Avocado Crostini
These crostini are a fresh and flavorful appetizer that's perfect for any occasion. The avocado mash can also be used for guacamole!
Ingredients:
- 12 slices sourdough bread, sliced on the diagonal
- 1 ripe avocado, mashed
- 1/4 cup Mama Lil's pickled peppers, diced
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Arrange the sourdough bread slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, until lightly golden.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed avocado, diced pickled peppers, lime juice, chopped cilantro, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a generous amount of the avocado mixture onto each toasted bread slice.
- Top with additional diced pickled peppers and cilantro.
- Serve immediately.
